SLU Post UTME Screening Requirements 2023/2024

What are the requirements that you need for the Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa, Jigawa? The requirements are not much. To be eligible for the SLU Post UTME Screening 2023/2024 Session, you must meet the requirements below.

  • Applicant must have six credit in their SSCE Results including Math and English
  • Applicant must meet the stipulated cut off marks for universities which is 180.
  • Applicants must have a recent passport photograph, a birth certificate and a certificate of origin.
  • Applicant should come to the screening venue with photocopies of SSCE original certificates with six credits including math and English and not more than two sitting.
  • UTME Candidates MUST have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects, at credit level, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings, including English and Mathematics.
  • Direct Entry Candidates MUST possess a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma, a Merit at NCE level and a minimum of 8 points in the IJMBE A/Level.

SLU Post UTME Screening Venues and Date

The date for the screening will be revealed to all applicants via their emails and phone numbers. The venue will be the school premises unless otherwise stated in their email and SMS. The specific venues for different departments will be made known to candidates individually.

How to Apply for SLU Post UTME Screening Form 2023/2024 Session

Unless otherwise stated, all applications shall be done via the SLU Post UTME Screening Portal which you can visit by clicking here.

Please ensure that all documents are intact and that you are eligible by meeting all the requirements before you apply.

Online registration for the screening exercise for both the UTME and DE candidates will commence on Monday 22nd November 2021 and end at Midnight of Sunday 5th December 2021.

To register for the exercise, follow the procedures below:

STEP 1: Visit the Sule Lamido University website at www.slu.edu.ng and navigate to Admission from the menu and click on Online Application to register.

STEP 2: Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (exclusive of REMITA charges) as Post-UTME/DE Screening Fee via REMITA.

STEP 3: Fill in the Application Form with your accurate details and click on Submit button.

STEP 4: After submitting, the system will generate an Acknowledgement Slip containing your reference number.

Sule Lamido University Post UTME Screening Exercise Date & Requirements.

The following is the screening procedure for both UTME and DE candidates:

  • Education Faculty – Tuesday, November 1, 2023
  • Humanities Faculty – November 2nd, 2023
  • 7th November 2023, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences
  • 8th November 2023, Faculty of Social and Management Science

Originals and photocopies of the following documents must be shown by candidates:

  • Slip of Acknowledgement
  • Payment Proof (RRR Receipt)
  • DE Registration Slip/UTME Result
  • SSCE Result Statement(s)
  • Two current passport photos with a white background
  • Certificate of Inheritance
  • Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
  • ‘A’ Level Result Statement (only for DE applicants)

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the date he/she is invited will not be considered for admission into the University during the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Candidates must strictly adhere to the extant preventive measures of covid-19 including maintaining of physical distancing, regular washing of hands and or sanitizing the hand and wearing of the facemask.
